WHAT PROPS AND EQUIPMENT ARE INCLUDED?

Our studio is your studio! You are welcome to use anything within LMP Collective studio, which currently includes various furniture, props, lighting equipment, seamless paper backdrops, and a few plants. Please note, we do have a storage area behind our black curtains with items unavailable for use.


WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?
Our studio hours are currently Sunday - Saturday from 8am-6pm which you will see reflected on our booking page. Please contact us if you would like to rent the studio outside of those hours. 


DO YOU OFFER STUDIO TOURS?
Typically no. We have tons of videos and photos to be able to share with you in addition to what is on our instagram page @lmpcollective. If you would still like an in-person tour, please contact us and we'll do our best to make an exception and coordinate a tour. 


WHAT KIND OF CHANGING AREA DO YOU HAVE?
There are public bathrooms just outside of our studio space.


I DON'T LIKE THE BACKDROP COLOR, CAN I SWITCH IT MYSELF?
We do our best to keep white, black, and a colorful option install at all times at the studio. If you notice that the paper is getting low, please notify us immediately so we can update it. We do not allow individual renters to swap out the seamless paper backdrops, due to the liability and process of the installation. If there is a specific color you would like for your upcoming session, please contact us for rates and availability for custom color.


IS THERE FREE PARKING?
Yes there is. There's a free parking lot off of Wayne St available for your use, directly East of the Riker Building. Additionally there is street parking and lots of paid lots throughout downtown Pontiac. Our parking garage is accessible by monthly badge holders only.


OH NO! I’M RUNNING LATE TO MY SESSION
Since our studio space is fully self-checkin, drive safe and arrive as soon as you can. 
Unfortunately we are unable to extend your reservation free of charge, however in some cases you may be able to purchase additional time by contacting us, if there are no reservations after yours.


CAN I EXTEND MY STUDIO RENTAL DURING A SHOOT?
As long as there are no booked sessions after your rental, you are welcome to extend your session for an additional fee. Please check with us ahead of time, or check the availability on our website and then book additional time. If there is a reservation after yours, we ask that you return the studio to the state you found it as leave promptly at the end of your reservation. 


UM…AWKWARD, THERE’S STILL SOMEONE USING THE STUDIO BUT MY RESERVATION TIME STARTED 15 MINUTES AGO...
In the event that the reservation before yours is still shooting, please notify them of your reservation time, and kindly ask them to wrap their session. In the event that they disregard your request, please contact us immediately. We understand that it is a shared studio space and sometimes time gets away from us, but we take the respect and kindness of our community very seriously. In the event that you are the photographer running over your time reservation, you will be charged for the additional time and given a warning. After 3 warnings of running over your time into another photographer's reservation, you will receive a ban on reserving our studio space. 


DO I SEE A CAMERA IN THE STUDIO SPACE?
Due to the self-check in nature of our studio space, we have a security camera facing our door to ensure the safety of our photographers, equipment, and punctuality of our guests. Please contact us with further concerns or questions.


CAN I BRING CONFETTI TO A PHOTO SHOOT?
We love that you love confetti! However, the photographers after you and the other people in the building do not love it.  While you are technically allowed to bring in confetti, we highly advise planning enough time to clean the studio and return it to the same state you found it as well as bringing large, fluffy, easier to sweep confetti. When in doubt, leave the confetti at home.
In the event that we have to clean after your session, or the reservation after you is affected by it, you will be notified and we will charge your card a cleaning fee starting at $150. 


CAN I USE GLITTER
Absolutely no glitter is permitted within LMP Collective. Glitter gets everywhere and we will have to deep clean after your session. You will be notified and we will charge your card a cleaning fee starting at $150 depending on the extensiveness of the glitter.


WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Please notify us ASAP so we can cancel your reservation. You have 48 hours to contact us and make changes or cancel your booking at no cost.  After 48 hours your booking is locked in. The fee is non-refundable for no-show appointments. In the case that LMP Collective is forced to cancel the full payment will be refunded. 


CAN I BRING MY DOG
Unfortunately dogs, cats, and other animals are not permitted within the Riker building, and therefore our studio as well. 


I BROKE SOMETHING DURING MY RENTAL
Please notify us as soon as possible if something is damaged or broken during your session. We understand that accidents happen, and our studio space hosts a large number of photographers + clients. Our main goal is to be able to fix or replace whatever is broken before our next reservation arrives. Depending on the damages, in some cases you will be charged a damage/replacement fee, oftentimes that is a percentage of the cost of replacement.


I REALLY NEED TO HANG SOMETHING ON THE WALL
We love our walls and do our best to keep them clean and bright for everyone! Therefore absolutely no command hooks, nails, tape, or other penetrating items are allowed on our walls. If you need to hang something for your photoshoot, we recommend bringing a portable backdrop stand with you and hanging your item off of that. In the case that we notice damage to our walls, you will be notified and we will charge your card a cleaning fee starting at $150.
 

I SAW YOU HAVE A PARKING GARAGE, I NEED TO SIT ON THE EDGE FOR A PHOTO!
There is absolutely no sitting, standing, or leaning on any of the edges of our parking garage rooftop or in the windows. This is a huge liability for us, is stupid for you, and will remove your access to the studio for future use. Please don't turn this into the Z Lot and respect the safety of yourself and your clients as well as our garage. Please note that children are also not allow on the rooftop of our parking garage due to incomplete barriers to the edge of the roof. This parking garage is accessible by monthly badge holders only, so please park in the free lot off of Wayne street.
